This beautiful porcelain Nativity Set by Nao Figurines features Mary, Joseph & Baby Jesus.
The porcelain figurines are part of a group of pieces that form Salvador Furio's nativity set scene depicting the birth of Christ.
It depicts the Virgin Mother in half kneeling position and gazing in adoration upon her Infant Son. She appears to be kneeling before the Holy Child with her left hand extended in a gesture of blessing. Measures 7" high x 3" wide x 5" long.
The beautiful Nao nativity figure of the Christ child depicts the baby Jesus in a cradle nestled in a mound of straw. The baby Jesus measures 2.25" Height x 4" Width.
Saint Joseph is depicted standing over the Christ child with staff in hand seeming both protective and amazed by this miracle. He stands 10.75" Height x 4" Width.
Hand finished in Valencia Spain by the Lladro Group NAO artisans skilled in the fields of sculpting, casting, and finishing. The hand colored pastel shades and flawless kiln fired gloss finish are hallmarks of the piece. Since 1968, the Lladro family has utilised the finest local artisans in Valencia, Spain to produce the NAO brand of porcelain figurines. Each NAO figurine is expertly crafted by skilled artists who are schooled in design, sculpting and hand painting. All NAO figurines are produced using the finest bisque porcelain, fired for up to 24 hours. The result is a truly unique piece of art.
