Molly Malone a piece of Irish history. The Molly Malone statue is located in Suffolk Street, a short distance from Trinity College and Grafton Street. Molly Malone was a semi historical, semi-legendary figure who was commemorated in the song 'Cockles and Mussels', a Dublin anthem.
As well as being known and sung internationally, the popular song 'Cockles and Mussels' has become a sort of unofficial anthem of Dublin City. The presentation of these in a hat box was lovely and caught my attention. There were several colours and designs and I chose the navy set.
