Willow Tree at Tierneys Gifts

We have a fantastic range of Willow Tree gifts available in both our new online store and in-store. Susan Lordi, the artist behind Willow Tree, hand carves the original sculpture for each Willow Tree, often using friends or family as the model. Each piece is then cast from these initial figures and individually hand painted.

First introduced in 2000 the designs have become a favourite with many of our customers, making great gifts for the people we love. Often we see people coming back and buying new additions for their collection as there’s nearly always an appropriate sculpture for each special occasion, friend or relation and the line evolves over time, with new designs keeping the collection fresh.

Well customers have really taken to the Christening Gifts that Susan designs. There is a fantastic, full range of sculptures specifically for Christenings, many of which can be delivered for free. So if any of your family or friends have just had a new addition to their own family these are definitely worth checking out.

Any piece from this line would make a fab gift but one of our biggest sellers is the We Are Tree. An ideal gift for the first new addition and it’s easy to see why! What a beautiful gift to mark the occasion. And the great thing is if the same family have another baby, your gift will be easy to choose from the Christening Gifts selection and this continuity makes it especially meaningful. You might choose another really popular Willow Tree option, the New Life figurine to celebrate the miracle of life. Many of our customers who order online have this piece gift wrapped and include a special message.

Our Favourites….

We don’t like to mention this so early on in the season but with Christmas just around the corner we expect to see lots of our customers buying the Nativity Set over the next few months – it’s simply gorgeous and often sells-out – just to bear that in mind as we hate to disappoint our loyal customers – especially those who take the time to engage with the site and read our articles! Two other really nice options in the Christmas range are The Three Wisemen and the Shepherd and Stable Animals.
